An Advocate of the High Court of Zambia with more than 14 years at the Bar, a trained Arbitrator and a Partner at Mando & Pasi Advocates, a law firm with a bias in employment, corporate and commercial law based in Kitwe, Lusaka and Solwezi. He studied law at the University of Zambia. Hastings is an experienced litigation advocate with a bias in employment law, commercial law and corporate transactions and has experience in international arbitration at ICC International Court of Arbitration and Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Hastings previously worked for Mopani Copper Mines Plc, as Legal Counsel where he oversaw litigation, arbitration and mediation in employment and commercial related matters, the drafting and reviewing of commercial contracts and corporate advisory. He also served as a Trustee for the Mopani Copper Mines Plc Pension Fund for three years during which he underwent specialized training in pensions law and pension fund administration. Hastings also worked as an Advocate at the Food Reserve Agency and as an Associate Advocate at Corpus Legal Practitioners.
