The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) is the statutory professional body representing the legal profession in Zambia. Established in 1973 under the Law Association of Zambia Act, Chapter 31 of the Laws of Zambia, LAZ exists to promote the development of the law, uphold professional standards, and advance justice and the rule of law.
LAZ brings together legal practitioners across Zambia and currently represents a membership of over 5,000 legal practitioners, providing leadership, guidance, and advocacy for the legal profession

LAZ promotes integrity, professionalism, accountability, and independence within the legal profession.
- Promote Access to Justice
Through public interest initiatives, legal aid, and pro bono services, LAZ supports efforts to ensure that vulnerable members of society can access legal assistance.

LAZ contributes to discussions on legislation and legal reforms that strengthen justice systems and improve governance.
