The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) is the statutory professional body representing the legal profession in Zambia. Established in 1973 under the Law Association of Zambia Act, Chapter 31 of the Laws of Zambia, LAZ exists to promote the development of the law, uphold professional standards, and advance justice and the rule of law.
LAZ brings together legal practitioners across Zambia and currently represents a membership of over 5,000 legal practitioners, providing leadership, guidance, and advocacy for the legal profession
